General Background and Guidelines
iPivoted is a non-profit organization that operates a scholarship fund to help highly motivated, underserved students.
Students use their scholarships to get academic degrees or professional certifications. Then they get good jobs.
iPivoted is looking for students who have goals. We don’t care what your GPA is or how you scored on a standardized test. Your determination and motivation to complete your higher education and start your career are what matter now.
How It Works
The first step is to figure out whether you qualify for an iPivoted scholarship. Qualification is based on need and motivation, not your grades or test scores.
You must either be enrolled full-time or plan to enroll full-time at an accredited not-for-profit institute of higher education. Also, at least one of the following statements must describe you:
Veteran with dependents
First generation in your family to attend college
Living with a serious chronic disease
Former foster child
Next, iPivoted staff will review your application. If we don’t have any questions, your personal scholarship request will accepted by iPivoted within five days. You will be eligible to receive funding allocations from the general scholarship fund for up to 6 months. If you skipped spell checking or editing yourself, we reserve the right to reject your application or to delay its processing in favor of other students who have applications that are ready to go or only require minor modifications.
The iPivoted Board of Directors will look through student profiles, select students to support, and provide scholarships from the general fund. iPivoted transfers the money to the scholarship office of your college or institution. The scholarship office verifies your enrollment, full-time status, and that you meet the school’s basic GPA requirements before it disburses the scholarship award.
Please note that at this time, iPivoted is not accepting any new requests for funding from students.
We Do Have A Few Rules
How Is iPivoted Funded?
iPivoted includes a 15 percent fee on all donations to cover our administrative expenses. The donors pay this 15 percent total project expense.
